Lets talk about Safe Sleeping

Welcome to The Cosy Baby!

Ensuring Safety and Comfort for Your Little One

Peace of Mind with Certified Safety

At The Cosy Baby, we understand that your baby's safety is your top priority. That's why all our items are certified safe under BS EN 1466:2014, ensuring compliance with the highest industry standards.

Premium Mattresses for Optimal Safety and Performance

We take the safety and comfort of your baby seriously. Our mattresses are manufactured in strict accordance with the rigorous requirements of BS 7177 for flammability and BS 1877 Part 10, 2011 & A1 2012 for safety and performance.

No Compromise on Chemicals

Your baby's health is important to us. That's why our mattresses are made without the use of fire retardant chemicals such as arsenic, antimony, or phosphorous. We believe in providing a safe sleeping environment without compromising on quality.

The safest place for a baby to sleep is in their own clear, flat, separate sleep space, such as a cot or Moses basket. We recommend a firm, flat, waterproof mattress.

We don't recommend using the pillow that comes with your order, some orders will no longer come with a pillow but if it does this is just for show and used at your own risk.  Keep your basket free from bumpers, toys, and loose bedding.

Does the Moses Basket comply with British Standards?

Yes, we follow BS instructions when making our baskets. Our baskets are BS approved.

Is your mattress firm?

Yes, our mattresses are perfect for your little babies. They are firm and entirely flat, making them safe for sleeping.

Having a baby can be a really overwhelming time, there is so much information on what you should and shouldn't do. Don't forget to do your research and find what Moses Basket is best for you. We believe you are in safe hands here at The Cosy Baby and look forward to watching your baby grow.

It must be noted that these baskets should only be used on a flat surface (floor) when a baby is inside. When you use our Rocking Stand: don't leave your baby unsupervised. Never carry the baby in the basket; if you move from room to room, carry the basket and baby separately. To be used only by new-borns, before they begin rolling or pushing up (after that, use your basket as a beautiful storage for fresh linen, toys, magazines, or whatever!) . Please read the added instructions well before assembly and use.
